After experience and loving, art is what gives my life the most meaning.
It’s the least violent way I know to achieve some sort of permanence, even if that permanence is only a memory or a memorial of an idea.
It’s how I pay it forward.
At some point, I experienced something someone else created and went,
“Oh my god; me, too!” and I felt less alone.
If I can do that for someone now or three generations from now, despite my belief that we must affirm ourselves, that connection will have paradoxically validated my own experience.
